Before you proceed with the setup, make sure you have the original version of the Windows
NT Server Installation CD-ROM is with you and you are logged in as an Administrator.
- Double click on the My Computer icon.
- Double click on the Control Panel icon.
- Double click on the Network icon.
- Click on the Services tab and then click on the Add... button.
- The Network Service window opens. Select Remote Access Service and click on the OK button.
- The Remote Access Setup prompt opens. Click on the Yes button to proceed.
- The Add RAS Device window opens. Click on the small 'down-arrow' to select on the correct Modem Drive in the RAS Capable Services.
- Click on the OK button to continue.
- The Remote Access Setup window opens and displays the device that you just added.
- Highlight the device and click on the Configure... button to proceed.
- Under the item Port Usage, select Dial out only and click on the OK button.
- You will be brought back to the Remote Access Setup window.
- Click on the Continue button.
- You will then be brought back to the Network window.
- Click on the OK button to complete the installation.
- Windows will then prompt you to insert your installation CD-ROM and a PC restart. Just follow the instructions given by the CD-ROM.
